WatuOS installer images are available to WatuFlex partners only. Every Watu Box is installed and handed over by a certified WatuFlex partner, so clients never need to download or install anything themselves.

The machine you install it on

Have this machine ready before your partner arrives. The system should refuse to install below the minimum rather than produce a slow system and an unhappy customer. These three are not negotiable at any installation.

SSD onlyReject mechanical disks. A database on a spinning disk in a dusty office will fail, and it will fail at month-end.

A small UPSA power cut in the middle of a write corrupts the database. This is the cheapest insurance in the whole installation.

Automatic local backupConfigured on the day, not promised for later.

Ex-corporate mini machines from about 2016 onward are the sweet spot, because corporate buyers required TPM 2.0: HP EliteDesk Mini and Elite Slice, Dell OptiPlex Micro, Lenovo ThinkCentre Tiny.
